Inspiring Wins!

I am constantly thinking of goals that I have set for myself and the little wins I making in reaching towards those goals.  I look for inspiration from the people around me. It is through celebrating their achievements that I can build momentum to keep moving towards my own small wins.

One of those fabulous people is Andra Watkins and I have been following her journey as a writer for several years. I am thrilled that she has published her latest book “Not Without My Father” and am impatiently  waiting for Amazon to deliver it to my doorstep! She has also launched a beautiful new website! If you have the chance go over and congratulate her on her big win for 2015!

I was also honoured to finally meet Desi for coffee this past year. It was inspiring just to be in her presence! She  is an amazing individual who has just completed her Masters  and a novel!   Her posts are always beautiful and insightful!  Visit her at Write Home Sometime!

Also my closest and dearest friend has been slowly letting her talents shine. In the past year, she has been sharing her artwork, writing songs, and beginning to perform on the stage. I would love to host a video of one of her musical performances. Yet she still too shy! But each day she inspires me with all of her brave steps!  I just wanted to give her a shout-out and a hug  of creative gratitude for always  shimmering!

My small win for the month of January is I entered a photo contest on twitter and won! It was featured on CBC Alberta News and I won swag! Yes! It is my nerd moment of glory! As well, I have finally figured out Google+.  I am loving it!  Come visit me, add me to your circle, and share with me your wins!

I just want to keep the momentum of positivity and creative gratitude flowing! What are your recent wins?  Don’t be shy! Tell me!

I’m still trying to think what my brave step this year is going to be. I’d love to self publish (at least) a book of poem and poetry that I am working on! We will see how it all turns out.

  4. It’s so true that the little wins lead to great achievements, some even beyond our imagination. I’m so excited about 2015 and the wins that lie ahead. Congratulations on winning the twitter photography competition, that’s so cool! Is it the picture at the top that you won with?
