  1. Our tree fell over two minutes after we finished decorating it this year, and about a dozen balls ended up smashed. (Luckily I’m referring to ornaments and not body parts). On the plus side, the cat has pretty much kept her distance ever since.

  2. I have not broken any. The move from Midwest to West broke one ornament given as a gift for our wedding. Then last year I found the gingerbread ornament in crumbs at the bottom of the ornament box. Poor ornaments, especially the ones who hold memories:(

  3. We haven’t had a bulb broken in YEARS. Seriously! Now that the kids are grown, of course. lol!

And every year we decorate our tree with a different theme in mind: one year might be really large ornaments, another year all one color ornaments and/or lights. This year, however, we have put out our collention of nutcrackers, so our ornaments on the tree are wooden nutcrackers and other wooden hanging toys. All wood! 🙂

  4. Don’t tell anyone, but our glass Christmas Angel now has to fly with one wing after I dropped her on the floor. She’s still managing to hover above the crib with the help of some sellotape.
