I have to confess! I have no weight loss secrets! I’m actually faltering on my diet plan and realize I need to remove wine from my life. In the past few months I have cut almost everything I love from mayo to croissants in my quest to be a skinny bitch. I exercise daily, and drink three cups of tortuous green tea a day! I still have muffin tops! And I would like to envision myself in a pair of foxy jeans without the assistance of Spanx in my daily wardrobe collection.
The worst part of this quest is I may have to part with my love of wine! I delight in two luxurious glasses of my friend red each evening. It’s a very seductive relationship he flirts with me with his smell, taste, and makes my lips wet. We have a marvellous affair were he listens attentively and never talks back.
Now, as I look at the last ten pounds looming over me and the finish line far off in the horizon. Is it time I part with my sweet dear friend? Maybe find a new hobby? But there is something satisfactory with a nurturing meal with wine. I know two glasses of wine are full of sugar and loaded with calories but it relaxes me after a stressful day.
As, we all strive to be healthy, and fit, when do we say “Enough Is Enough!” And accept the junk in our trunk. I just don’t know if I can cut wine from my diet. So, tonight I will snap on my Spanx, toast to my love of wine, accept the size of my ass, and fool-hardly sneak extra dressing on my salad.
