I currently work for the Cameron Carnival as a domesticated clown. I’m the head clown in this family’s circus act. Usually, I’m juggling upside down or falling on my head.On my down times I can be seen with my noise stuck in a good book, spilling coffee down my shirt, and aimlessly wandering about wondering where did I put my glasses.

  4. Hey– sorry to post on your blog, didn’t know how to get a hold of you! I was just going through our subscribers, and wanted to let you know we’ve had a mini facelift on the blog, and I dread being a pain… but we switched from wordpress.com to wordpress.org which means— subscribers have to sign up again. I was suprised to find out there was no way to transfer over all of our current subscriptions! Boo. Anyways, we would love for you to continue following us.. if you don’t mind signing up one more time! Really like your theme, and the blog’s name– cute :)

  15. You certainly seem to be riding the wave my dear, good job, 181 likes and over 500 comments, that is busy work and appreciation in action. Most people do not get that kind of acceptance or response in a 12 year period.

  22. I like the concept of a domestic clown–the other sort have always left me wanting, but domesticity lends itself to so many balancing acts, comic bits, and so forth. From what I’ve seen of your work, you are mastering a whole bunch of those arts very neatly! Cheers!

    I enjoyed reading your essays today and look forward to new posts. I have to say I find you intriguing. Your essays contain so much heartfelt musing, a generous amount of pain, intellectual curiosity, really just an earnestness. All that was plenty to pique my interest, then I learned you are a clown. Your writing seems so different from your day job, but I suppose that’s what makes you and your writing so interesting. Thanks for letting us peek into your world.
